The other day I was getting ready to make dinner, and I told Jordan, "I don't really feel like making dinner today." He said, "Why? Do you just like to eat candy all day?" (I must be setting a really good example of healthy eating habits, don't you think?) Well, someone must have relayed this conversation to grandpa, because this is the package Jordan and Jarrett got in the mail today from Josey's dad:

That's hillarious. It sounds just like me--I'm eating Sweethearts candy as we speak. But the boys are sleeping, so they don't know what they're missing...
Ah, that flawless Allen wisdom...so good to see it get passed on to the younger generation. You should have my dad tell you about one of their horse packing trips. I think they were still two days from getting out of the mountains, and they traded their last loaf of bread for a bag of candy with some strangers heading farther in. We know how to set priorities!
