Yep, that's right. I'm having a girl!! I've been thinking that this one was another boy, but I was wrong. It will be an exciting new adventure to have a sweet baby girl. Now I will have to redo the bedroom and come up with a name, which is my biggest dilemma right now. The girl name I like is the one I've always liked, but it doesn't start with a "J." So I'm thinking of abandoning the "J" name thing, but I'm not sure. I'm not going to tell you the name, but if you have any "J" names you think are cute, feel free to share. Josey won't even tell me the names he's thought of because he knows I will think they are weird. He likes unique, but I do not really care so much about that. Do you think it would matter if we all had "J" names and this baby did not? Just interested in some opinions.

Can't wait to see her! I'm sure she will be so cute! Congratulations!
Yeah! Girls are so fun, you will love having a girl! If you love a name you should go with it! I have wanted a Taycie since I was a little girl and named my dolls it, so it is fun to have a real one. But if you both really love a J name then I think that would be fun too. I love that the Duggar's on 19 and counting all start with a J. I'm sure there are a lot of really cute J names. Good luck, it will be great either way!
Congrats guys! What a lucky sis to have two awesome big brothers! :D Can't wait to hear the name!
congrats! i, too, can't wait to hear the name!
Yay for girls! I am so stinkin' excited! As for names, I don't expect these to make the cut, but maybe they can get your brain juices flowing with the "J" ideas. I have always liked the names Jayne and Jenna. So there, get that name pump primed!
Yay for babies! Congrats Allens! Can't wait to meet her!
we have the boys starting with j's but not the girls. you can just have all the girls be different.
as for girl names starting with J...
Jade is the name Josh and I really liked!!
I also like Jaycee and Josh loved Jasmine.
Good luck!
Yay for baby girls! Congrats mama. :)
We are so excited you are having a girl!! I thought for sure Harper would be the lone lady with a bunch of boy cousins. She is SO lucky! I am so excited that they will be so close in age. Hopefully they will be great friends.
I think it is totally fine to abandon the J's for the girls. My parents were on a role with R's but stopped when Chris was born. Whatever you choose, I'm sure it'll be great!
Congratulations!
Yeah for little girls! I bet you are so excited! I think girl names are much harder to come up with than boy names, though, so good luck!
Jill, that is wonderful!! You are so wonderful as is your family. I think there shouldn't be any set of rules for names other than what you feel is right for that particular child. Congratulations!
Jillsy- I am so excited for you! You have given me hope that I will have a girl someday. Maybe I will be just like you, two boys and a girl. The name thing- I think she would be ok if she had a non-J name if there was another child with a non-J name. Otherwise, she might feel left out and different (do I sound like a social worker?). My cousin is named Janie and I have always thought that was so cute. I can't wait to see her!
hey, congrats! we tried the 'k' thing for names and then abandoned it on baby three! it was too hard, plus, i was forever spitting out the wrong kid's name! so go with the one you love! we're having a girl hopefully in the next couple weeks and i'm so excited. pink is so much fun to play with! congrats again, hope you're feeling well!
CONGRATS, Jill!!! Two boys and a girl...that's so perfect!!!
Congrats on a girl!!!! You'll have to let me know how it goes. Who knows if I'll ever have a girl!
I think you should use a J name with some food connection-Jasmine or Julip--not sure if Jello would work. I think there are some spanish foods that start with J-ask Jesse for ideas.
Girls are incredible, boys are stupendous and all bring a gentle calm to our hearts when remember they are entrusted by God to our care. I think it comes closest to understanding God's love for us. I think J or no J is fine. Maybe girls have a different letter of the alphabet... here are some "J" names to add to Jesse's get the juices flowing: Jasmine; Jantelle; Jamye
Congrats, Jill! How fun :)
I think if you plan to have another child, losing the 'J' isn't a bad thing. However, I agree with Megan. She may feel left out if there isn't another different lettered child. My oldest sis is Elizabeth & then there's 2 'S' names & 2 'K' names...she hates it.
I absolutely LOVE 'J' names:
Jayde/Jade
Janey/Jane
Jeslie
Jennica
Jerica
Joelle
Jeriya
Jolynn
I know people with all of these names, & I always love them!
Good luck!
